Dyfed Steel is the largest independent steel stockholder and processor in Wales and the Southwest of England. Dyfed Steels is ISO 9001:2015 Quality Approved with over 23,000 tonnes of stock across the widest range anywhere in the UK, 10 branches throughout the region, and a complete range of processing services. Dyfed Steel has continuously invested in the most sophisticated machinery to offer the complete range of processing services from the simplest individual cut bar to high volume sophisticated processing to the strictest of requirements.

Pain point

Dyfed Steel’s stock management solution has been developed to use Kyocera printers so their branches were using a wide range of different Kyocera mono printer models. This resulted in Dyfed Steel having to stock different toners and parts for each device. All these machines were being supported by Dyfed Steel’s internal IT department.

Solution

As Kyocera’s Premier dealer in Wales, we worked closely with Dyfed Steel to understand their business and operational practices with the aim of developing and implementing suitable operating solutions and backed this up further with a tailor-made Managed Print Service agreement suited to Dyfed Steel.

Outcome

Throughout this arrangement, Morgan & Morgan Document Solutions have:
• Released business cash flow by reducing Dyfed Steel’s toner administration and storage
• Streamlined their business processes through effective use of Kyocera technologies
• Enabled Dyfed Steel’s IT department to concentrate on business-specific activities as printers are fully supported.
